Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Darci J. Stotts was born in San Angelo, Texas
June 2, 1965. She attended elementary and high school in La Porte, Texas and
graduated in 1983. Following high school, Dr. Stotts attended San Jacinto
College on a full track scholarship and received All American Honors in the high
jump. She then entered Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas and
completed the full course of study in 1989. Also, in 1989 Dr. Stotts completed
two state board exams and was issued chiropractic licenses for Texas and
Oklahoma.
Dr. Stotts worked in private practice for two local chiropractors and in 1993
began her own private practice on Knickerbocker Rd. in San Angelo, Texas.
In 1991 Dr. Stotts began a course of study specializing in instrument adjusting
with the Atlas Orthogonal Technique under Dr. Roy Sweat from Atlanta Georgia.
In 1992 Dr. Stotts published “Atlas Orthogonal Technique” in the Texas
chiropractic journal.
In 1994 Dr. Stotts completed a 100 hour course with examinations and
certification study in spinal trauma under Life Chiropractic College West
located in Whittier, California under the teachings of Dr. Dan Murphy.
In 1998 Dr. Stotts completed a 90 hour post graduate board certification course
with oral, physical and written exams specializing in Atlas Orthogonal
Chiropractic Technique. In this specialty, Dr. Stotts is the only Board
Certified Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractor in the State of Texas.
In 2000 Dr. Stotts expanded her practice to include a full rehabilitative
center. Injured Workers Rehab specializes in work conditioning, work hardening,
and a multi-discipline pain management program.
In March 2005 Dr. Stotts moved her practice to 3558 Knickerbocker Road, in the
Southwest Plaza. This facility is conveniently located near the 306 Loop, and
includes a full service therapy room ideal for pre, post, and non-surgical
patients.
Dr. Stotts is an extended faculty member of Sherman Chiropractic College in
Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Dr. Stotts’ memberships include the Texas Chiropractic Association, the
International Chiropractic Association, and the American Chiropractic
Association.
Since Dr. Stotts spends so much time with horses her adjusting skills have been
broadened. She has been practicing Equine Chiropractic in the local and state
areas. West Texas Equine is a growing part of Stotts Chiropractic and is
expanding by the day.
